Day 40 - Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore is one of the most fun cities we've played at because the dancers are so high energy. This show was extra exciting because it was Halloween night ensuring that the dancers would be doubly crazy. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of anyone's costume. Sometimes things are way too busy after we get to the venue.

The venue is an old church that Nina and Michael have converted into a ballroom.

Day 38-39 - Washington, District of Columbia

Sorry I haven't been posting frequently. Things got crazy busy on the road and I got backed up on school work and such. I kept taking pictures so I will get them posted eventually.

After Rochester we made a long long drive back to Washington DC to play for Jam Cellar at Glen Echo for their Halloween swing dance on Saturday and blues dance on Sunday.

That's a Jesus-Lizard
Sunday morning and afternoon Bethany and I went to explore Old Town Alexandria and DC. We saw some awesome buildings and the Potomac River.

No jokes for now... all business. (hahaha)

Over and out,

Day 37 - Rochester, New York

After playing in NYC we drove 6 hours to Rochester.

Very subjective.

This was going to be a picture of it snowing outside, but it turned out to be Patrick sleeping... creepy?
Rochester was the first the string of Halloween dances. And they had a lot of impressive costumes.

I'm not sure how he danced with those hands...

Day 35-36 - New York, New York

After spending a few days in DC at Mike's house we headed up to New York City. I was able to stay with my Uncle Paul and Aunt Judy. It was really great to see a few of my cousins as well. Sharon recently got engaged and Renee is pregnant! Both of which happened since I had seen them last. I didn't take as many pictures with my family as I would have liked to, but I'll be back in NYC on November 14th and I'll be sure to get some then.

It was seriously hard to get a good picture of the city with my camera. I've been messing around with settings, but to no avail.

We ate next door to this place on our way down.
I wish I had gotten a video or picture of us moving the piano through the streets of Manhattan. But, as you could assume, I was pushing a piano and didn't have a free hand. A picture with Caesar is a close second though...

The venue was a small dance studio on the fourth floor of a tall building. The place was packed like something that gets packed very tightly. Consequently, it was really hot.

Rachel Land came out and danced! It was good to see her.

What do you call it when a dinosaur crashes his car?
